Alda Dominguez

Alda earned her BS in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix while serving in the United States Naval Reserve until her end of contract in 2020. She then worked for the Arizona Department of Veteran Services until COVID-19 forced her office to close. From there, Alda worked in retail until she began a successful career as a Vocational Instructor for a local non-profit and taught disabled adults how to navigate computer skills. More specifically, she showed them the basics of using computers, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite applications, which gave them employable skills and prepared them for the workforce. Alda now serves as the Administrative Support Assistant for ASTEC, and is responsible for various administrative and operational aspects of the center, including the coordination of training and tours.
